The cat shelf I built attaches to the cat backpack I bought. And allows my cat to rest at my shoulders while going on walks. Tools used include: Staple tacker, 1/2” drill and bits, Hand saw, and Miter box. It took about 4 hours total.

We were super excited to find most of the tools we needed at the Oakland Tool Lending Library for our drywall project — we made great use of a chalkline, drywall T-square, screw gun, mixer, drywall knives and mud pan. Looking forward to having a finished garage ~ thank you TLL!

A little scrap wood from the backyard scrubbed free of the worst of its grime, a few items from the Oakland Tool Library…….and voilà! A more than acceptable cat scratching post, except to whom? Why the cats of course. They were more than happy to claw up the post until it was brought inside and mounted, so now? Back outside with it. Thanks again for y’all’s great facility. – Fred, Oakland
